Hello everyone I am launching a large scale crowd-sourcing tongue image project to collect as any tongue images from volunteers of various ethnic backgrounds as part of a scientific study to investigate variation in human tongue surface appearance. The hope is to reach across the 75 million DeviantArt users from around the world to collect data from a many individuals as possible Here's where you can help. Male or female volunteers required. Submissions will be kept anonymous, used for this research only. Images required are to be clear, well lit, in sharp focus including the entire tongue surface extended from the mouth as far as possible. I'll say this again, the entire length of the tongue should be visible, well lit using flash and in sharp focus. Images ideally will be full size 4000 x 3000 pixels not compressed, so appox. 4 mb.
